Department of Mechanical Engineering is equipped with full fledged lab facility to meet the academic requirement. It has independent Library, Seminar Hall, Internet center and Computer center systems to facilitate teaching CAD, CAM, solid edge, ANSYS and CNC software. The department has highly qualified, experienced, dedicated and result oriented staff members. The department emphasizes on Research and Development to a larger extent and the project work carried out by our students has brought laurels to the Department and Institution by winning awards at various levels.

The department has well qualified, experienced and committed faculty to provide quality industry tuned education to the students. The Department Infrastructure fulfills the requirements of academics, supports research and learning skills on the latest technology in the industry.

The students are molded with multi dimensional skill sets covering all the required graduate attributes. More focus is emphasized on the practical learning, projects and research. The students of the department get into the industry through placement and there is a high inclination towards entrepreneurship and research. The department is supported by a large alumni group. Students are introduced to global challenges and encouraged to take up projects in this direction.
